How much does it cost to groom a cat?

As stated the price do vary. Please guide on services page, the cost of the groom will be determined after an assessment of your cat’s coat and skin condition on arrival.

How long will it take to groom my cat?

As a guide we allow two hours per grooming appointment.

Can I stay with my cat during the groom?

As the cat will need our full attention and to minimise stress we do not allow owners to stay unless your cat has known health concerns. We will take photos and text you once they are ready to come home.

Will we bath my cat?

Yes, we prefer to bath all cats it helps remove grease, saliva, dirt, dandruff, and dead fur from the coat and allows us to apply specialist shampoos and coat conditioners. Bathing can help prevent matting for 4 to 6 weeks depending on coat type and lifestyle.

How often should my cat be groomed?

We will give you a tailored grooming plan once we have seen and assessed your cat’s coat. We usually recommend 6 to 8 weeks for Lion cuts and maintenance grooms

Do we groom elderly cats?

Yes, as long as there are no significant health concerns and your Vet has not advised against grooming.

Can we groom my cat if it has fleas?

We cannot groom a cat with fleas. If fleas are found on your cat, additional charges will apply to cover the cost of decontaminating our salon.

Can we groom aggressive cats?

All cats are welcome, often handled and introduced correctly most cats learn to enjoy the experience however we may decline to groom cats that show unprovoked aggression or fear. We would then recommend a vet grooming your cat under sedation.
