Having run a boarding cattery for 20yrs Joanne was seeing more and more cats that really would benefit from professional grooming to reduce the matts and improve coat condition, many owners would mention the amount of hair being left on their clothes and around the home. Most were unaware that proper professional grooming can considerably reduce this making life more enjoyable for both the cat and the owner.

Wanting a new challenge both myself and Amanda set about training to become professional cat groomers.  We undertook extensive training learning about the different coats and requirements specifically for cats along with the proper handling techniques required to reduce stress and risk whilst grooming. Introducing cats slowly and in the correct way to bathing and grooming makes all the difference for both them and us.

We are lucky to have the benefit of a salon located at the same place as Brayside Cattery so are also able to offer grooming whilst cats are staying with us.
